Becoming a man requires tutoring, preparation, and association that will produce the required abilities for a child to grow into a man.  This requires the teaching of leadership, responsibilities, and social skills in order to reach manhood and not just adulthood.  Manhood is not a natural process for boys.  It is something that is learned, and it is not a biological process.  True manhood is taught.  Jesus taught true manhood and it is displayed when we freely and selflessly sacrifice for the unworthy – selflessness and sacrifice.  There can be a huge disconnect between what we say and what we do.  True manhood means getting beyond ourselves as individuals to love our neighbors.  True men deny themselves of carnal pleasures for true joy in Jesus.  It is said that boys are forced to give, but true men give freely because they have been given. True manhood begets Fatherhood.
